During the activity participants will get the opportunity to see photographs from the National War Museum Archives and to read letters sent by soldiers stationed in Malta during the conflict.
Silk screen printing, a technique developed by Andy Warhol during the time will be used to print poppies, a flower associated with peace and WW1. Children are encouraged to bring a white t shirt or an undecorated cloth bag with them so that they can print the poppy flower on it.
This activity is open for children aged 10 years old and upwards.
Tickets: 5 euro, including 1 accompanying adult. Available soon at any Heritage Malta museum or site, and online on https://heritagemalta.mt/store/e1123/
